Translator for Twitch is a browser extension that translates your own Twitch chat messages from Spanish into the language configured for each streamer, before they are sent. This policy describes exactly what data the extension handles. It is written to match what the code actually does.
Everything the extension stores lives locally on your device, in
chrome.storage.local:
channel login → language code.This data stays in your browser. It is not synced and it is not transmitted to the developer or to any third party.

No other provider receives your text. The translated text is then placed in the chat

stream's language. This request contains only the public channel login.Each provider processes the text under its own terms and privacy policy; only the provider you choose receives it.
The extension does not read, translate, process or modify messages from other users, and it does not observe the incoming chat.

The extension contains no remote code. It does not load or execute scripts from a CDN or
any external source, and it uses no eval().
You can remove all locally stored data at any time by clearing the API key(s) and channels in the extension popup, or by uninstalling the extension.
